About Us

HOLLA! It’s me, Clare, the face behind SnapShot - what started out as a fun past time that’s grown into quite the little side hustle.

I'm a marketing manager and graphic designer by day but a passionate crafter by night. Crafting has always been important to my mental health and creative spirit. Having to confine my creativity to please clients can get exhausting and frustrating. I needed an outlet to let the 'Clare' out.

When I invested in my first Cricut, things took a turn for the EXTRA. I made everything with my Cricut - from my Halloween decorations, labels, wedding invitations and eventually shirts for special occasions. I started out with using iron-on vinyl. It was great, but I wanted to find a better, more permanent alternative.

Which brings me to screen printing! Screen printing is the practice of pushing dye over a screen where ink is impenetrable in certain areas, leaving behind a transferred design.

Unlike vinyl, screen printing ink is absorbed into the sweater, leaving a permanent mark. So you don't have to worry about your sweater getting ruined in the wash! Cool, eh?

I make all my sweaters by hand this way - no magic machine or fancy technology. Just me and my two hands!
